First, a tiny toot. Two of my cards, made with the Mac Mae Card Kit, were picked to appear on the Basic Grey Gallery.
They chose this one. I used sticker letters for the greeting! I've only done that a few times in my life!
And this one, which I showed you the other day. Of all the cards I sent them, I'm not sure why they chose these two, but I'm still happy!
Here are a few more cards I made from the Mac Mae kit.
This one uses the Bazzill Dots cardstock. I've never use it before, but it's super cool. I also used just a bit of the Scenic Route paper (the grid paper) along with the Basic Grey. Looks kind of neat together.
I made this flower by cutting a few scallop circles with the Spellbinders Nestie dies. Then I crunched them up, sprayed them lightly water, then let them air dry. Once they were dry, made them into a flower. Easy peasy!
This was a pretty simple card. All BG paper, plus some ribbon and flowers. The brad is a BG brad from the kit.
My Sketch World
Here is my April reveal of the card I made from Lucy's sketch. I did not follow the sketch exactly, but...I love how the card turned out.
I used Daisy D's paper. I've been hoarding this paper since Daisy D's will soon be out of business and I won't be able to get any more! I used a Stampin' Up stamp, which went so well with the style of paper. I cut my mats with the Spellbinders Nestie label dies. Love those things!I write a product review each month for the CropStop newsletter and message board. This month, I wrote a review on Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Stickles. If you want to read the review, visit the forum. Below is the project I made.
I could create these tags all day long! I love this technique. If you want to learn how to make a tag like this, see my little tutorial here.
That's it for today. Check back tomorrow for the Triple the Sketch Blog Hop!
