365 Cards - Cutting Cafe Week - Quite a Pair

Today's challenge for 365 Cards was to do an engagement or anniversary card...no wedding cards. Also, the DT had to use the pear image from The Cutting Cafe. Here is what I came up with.

This is an anniversary card. I colored the image with pencils, then cut it out with Spellbinders Nesties. I cut two sizes of scallop circles with Nesties also. The pp is Basic Grey. I loved the colors of the trees and was able to match my cardstock and pencils to those colors - except that I now see that my pear leaf does not match the color palette at all! Oops! I found the "congratulations" acrylic word bubble in my stash...and it matched in color also!

Stay tuned for MORE cards this week. I plan to play along every day this week, for a change!

  7. Gloria you did a great job on this one. The Basic Grey PP is wonderful. I cannot get Basic Grey readily here which is a real pain because mostly all the lovely papers I see are Basic Grey.
