365 Cards Sketchy Sunday - Cutting Cafe Week

Here it is, Sunday again. The weeks are just flying by! Before I know it summer will be over and fall will be here! Which means fire season here in So. Cal. Yikes! Oh, and about a week ago, last Friday I think, we had an EARTHQUAKE again. It shook the house pretty hard and lasted about 10 seconds. It's so freaky when that happens. I think the epicenter was up in LA, but we felt it down here! Well, that was sort of off topic, but...I need to share my exciting life with you!

Ok, the real news is that The Cutting Cafe is the 365 Cards sponsor for this week. The Cutting Cafe sells printable stamps in all sorts of themes and styles. The 365 Cards DT got two different sets to play with! The set for today is all about cupcakes! Here is the card I made for the sketch challenge.

I used all Basic Grey papers...again. I printed the images right on my printed paper, then cut them out. You can't tell from the photo, but I added some glitter to the cupcake frosting. I used my Stampin' Up markers to color everything. I cannot afford to buy Copics...yet. Some day...some day.

I got so carried away with the cupcake images, that I made a second card. I found some birthday paper by Imaginisce at my LSS last month, and already knew about the cupcake images...so was hoarding it for today!

I used a cupcake image and one of the printable sentiments. I colored everything with SU markers and some chalk ink.

I also painted Stickles glitter glue all over the cupcake frosting. Yummy!
