365 Cards
Well, here it is. The last Cosmo Cricket day at 365 Cards. I have to say, it was a blast to play along all week. I am not sure how many weeks I can keep this up, but it's fun when I do! Cosmo Cricket is one of my favorite paper lines, so getting a chance to play with it has been a blast!
Now for the challenge. The paper pack being showcased today is Ever After, and yes, I had some of that in my stash! (You knew I did!) The card was also to be a wedding or love themed card. This is what I came up with. ETA: I was to use the word "love" on the card, but didn't realize that until too late!
I love this dress stamp from Close to My Heart. I stamped it in a soft gray ink to match the paper. (I think it is Sahara Sand from SU.) I embellished the dress with some tiny half pearls.
Those flowers are actually ribbon, but I cut it apart into individual flowers. I am not sure were to get more of this as it was in my LSS kit a few months ago. I need to check the store next month and see if there is more to be had. It's very pretty. I embellished the centers with larger pearls (Kaiser Kraft). The "always" stamp is SU. Those various script stamps are some of my favs.
My trusty Fiskars scallop punch added some nice detail too, but this paper is just so pretty that it was almost a shame to cut into it!
So there you have it - Cosmo Cricket week! I have a ton of my paper pack (Girl Friday) left over, so you will see more cards with that paper line, in fact, keep looking...
MOSD
My MOSD project was actually for Friday, but I did not get it posted until late, so figured to wait and share with you today. It's a very girly project, using the Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday paper left over from the 365 Cards Cosmo week. (It's so great how all my DTs can play together! hee hee)
I used a 4x6 clear acrylic page from MOSD to make this birthday tag. I've been trying to use my left-overs before the new Design Team comes on board and we get all new DT packages! You still have until June 25th to answer the Call (click here for details) so get those entries turned in!
Are these flowers to die for, or what?! See the green "leaves"? They are actually petals from a green flower. Who uses green flowers? But if you trim off the petals at an angle, they make great leaves!
CropStop
I told you I'd have an announcement about CropStop soon! Well here it is. I've been on the Creative Team since September 2008, starting out working with their kits, but then becoming the Cuttlebug Specialist. Well, they are making some changes to the message board, and I will be now be the Embossing Specialist! I'm so excited. I love dry embossing and will have projects for you on Fridays. Here is the one for yesterday.
I wanted to showcase masculine cards, using an embossing folder. I use the new Quickutz Label Strips folder.
The stamps are my favorite manly Stampin' Up stamps. I even used some metal "bling" from Tim Holtz. I made faux ribbon from a few strips of Girl Friday paper! Told you I'd be using that paper more and more!
Ok, that all for today's big, fat reveal. Tune in tomorrow for more to see!

Triple the Sketch
Today is reveal day for Sketch #62. I've been playing a lot with my new Unity stamps, and have used one again for this card.
All of the printed paper is My Mind's Eye - I think it's from one of the Kaleidoscope lines. I've had it a few years, so I forget.
I used punches and dies to make all the flowers. I gave them some dimension by flipping them upside down onto a thick foam mat, and then rubbing them with a stylus. (The foam came in some packaging, and I saved it, thinking it would be useful, turns out I was right!)MOSD
