I used Bazzill for the card and K&Company printed paper. I thought it needed some more red, so added the netting. I decided that the netting needed some bling also, so used a metallic red pin, and then I put a black bead onto a jewelry finding and added that as well.
For my bling, I used this glittery book plate. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) onto a scrap of the printed paper and placed it behind the book plate. Then I added the mulberry rose, which I sprayed with glimmer mist. I hope I did the challenge correctly. Now for another Apron Strings Designs reveal. This is another sheet of the Little Yellow Bicycle paper.
Again, I had to think of what to do with this map paper. It was too cool to just cover it up. Then I had the idea of using it to tell the story about our move from the east coast to the west coast. But I did not want to blah blah blah with a lot of journaling. I think this does the job! I just added a few photos of California and called it a day! I used a Cuttlebug arrow die, and a Sizzix font.
Like you I have never read the book(s) or seen the movie. So you inspire me to "just make a card" using the color format. Your card is beautiful, love the tulle and pins!
ReplyDeleteI Love it Gloria. You did a great job and it doesn't matter if you have not read the series or seen the movie as long as you were inspired by it and you were. That's all you need to do *grins*
