365 Cards Sketchy Sunday - October 4th

Here is the 365 Cards Sketch for today!

This sketch is one of my favorites! I really loved this sketch and have ideas for a few more cards AND an altered project...if I ever get time to play with it! Here is the card I made for today.

I followed this sketch 100%. I even blew up the sketch to print it at "life size" so I could use it to hand-cut my curves. They were a bit wonky, so I smoothed them out with a very fine sandpaper. All of the paper is Cosmo Cricket. I had purchased a kit from QVC a long time ago, and this paper was in the kit. I've NEVER used ANY of it! I stumbled across it and decided I loved the shabby colors.

I went through my stash and found some cool buttons to stack up, plus a pearl. Looks great with the twill. The greeting is Hero Arts, and the shape is Spellbinders. Here's a "flat" view of the card.

Can't wait to see what everyone else does with this challenge. Make sure to come back tomorrow to see the Monday challenge....it does NOT start with "M"....

Also, if you want to follow the CropStop Blog Hop, see the previous post. I made a rockin' embossed card for that!
