Let's See Some Cards

I'll be showing a few cards each day this week from the MacMae October Card Kit. One of the best things about being on the 365 Cards DT is that once a quarter I also get to DT the MacMae kits. Let me tell you, the October kit is jam packed with goodness! Here are two 3x3 tags that I made.

I cut and embossed the scallop circle with my Nesties. On the card below, I trimmed the bat border so that I could just use one of the bats. I also cut and embossed the oval. The little stamp was in my kit. I stamped it with Stampin' Up white craft ink.

Yummy ribbon, right?! Now, it's time for the 365 Cards Sketchy Sunday. Here is the sketch...this was a hard one!

Here is my card. I used SEI Playday paper - just picked up on sale at Michael's. Gotta love that! It's VERY cute paper. (Haylie Jo, I hope you see those pink elephants!)

I embossed the button strips with a Cuttlebug EF. Then I put some lime green ink on the buttons to make them stand out. And match my paper. The greeting is Close To My Heart. I took two stamps and spelled out a saying, then added the hearts.

I used my Spellbinders Nesties to cut and emboss my ovals. Love using those dies! They are my favorite go-to tools!

Check back tomorrow for more MacMae Kit cards and my Monday 365 Cards Challenge. It is not an "M" challenge. Starts with "F" this time! Also, I have another organization project going, so check later in the week for details and scary photos!

  6. Love what you've done with the kit. It is fun to see it in pieces when I visit Pam, then see what magic you create! Your fabric inspired card today is now my favorite, though (until your next card, I am sure!).
