Sunday, Sunday

Here it is, Sunday again. Time for another sketch at 365 Cards. Here is the sketch that Pam gave us for today. This was also the sketch that the DT applicants had to use when applying for the open DT spot. So those gals get to show their cards too! (And we are pretty sure that Pam is now stirring her "special coffee" with some "very special candy canes."

This was a hard sketch for me. The large oval really threw me. But I finally came up with something. And it's NOT a Christmas card!

The paper is My Little Shoebox. Super cute paper. And not really something I normally pick, but I just fell in love with the spring-like colors. I cut the large ovals with the Creative Memories cutting system. This is one of those tools I've had since it came out years ago, and I still turn to it from time to time.

I don't remember where I found this ribbon - I think it was in the box of Martha Stewart stuff I found at Big Lots. The little stamp is SU.

I get to brag again! The card below won "bragging rights" at Practical Scrappers yesterday! I've just found that site and really enjoy that they have sketches and challenges.

My dh thinks I should find something that pays money instead of blinkies. I told him, "From your lips to God's ears, honey!" Honestly, if I wanted the money, I'd go back to my old career. It was not nearly as fun as playing with paper and stamps!

See you tomorrow for the 365 Cards Monday Challenge. And the story that goes with it!
