I used the AJ the Romantic image from The Stamping Boutique. I tried to at least get the feel of the sketch, but you can see I went way out in the weeds with this one!
I made a 5x5 card and used Basic Grey Sugar Rush (6x6 pad) paper. The large scallops were cut using a EK Success punch.
I cut my image with a Nestie circle. The card felt a bit out of balance, so I added the little tag with a greeting (CTMH).
I colored the image with my new Koh-i-Noor pencils and OMS. I may have used a few EK Success or Crayola pencils too...hard to tell. I found the Koh-i-Noor pencils at Michael's the other day. They had a set of 24 and with a coupon I got them for $8. They are fantastic pencils. And they blend very well with the OMS (odorless mineral spirits).
ETA: This card also fits the Challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ who asked for an image of a child, but not a baby card.
You aced this sketch, Gloria! Love the sticking out parts, and great coloring! And hmmm that smaller patterned Suger Rush looks great. Might need that one after all... Have a great Sunday and thanks for all the inspiration!
