The cardstock is SU kraft and the printed paper is Basic Grey Two Scoops, from a 6x6 pad.
I stamped the sentiment (Hampton Art) onto the large heart with timber brown Staz-On. The other little sentiments are Close To My Heart. This card is also for 365 Cards Day 311, which is to replace a word with an image. You can see how I did that below. Well, ok, it's a cheat as the stamp did it for me! I cut the circles with Nestie dies and the little "I Love You" heart, I stamped and then trimmed out with scissors. I've had these little "country" stamps for a long time, but I still like them. I give them love every Valentine's Day!
This card is also for the Practical Scrappers sketch that was posted on Dec. 25th. I took some liberties with the sketch, but...don't I always?!
This is another KLM Digital Designs January release - a cute angel (or Cupid?). I printed the image and then colored it with pencils and markers. I then sponged some Tim Holtz old paper distress ink around the edges to make it look "old." I also added some punched hearts for some dimension.
The cardstock is Bazzill and the printed paper is Cosmo Cricket from a kit I purchased on QVC a few years ago, and you guessed it, never used! I distressed the edges a bit to go with the vintage feel.
I used the Truly Scrumptious sketch for inspiration. I was also to use vellum, so I added little vellum hearts. The greeting is Stampin' Up - an old foam stamp that was probably one of the first sets I ever purchased from them! So, it's old! That yummy crochet flower was made by my mother-in-law! God love her, she's made me 100's of these, in all sizes and colors. I may have to start sharing them with friends. The button is from Buttons Galore. I love the look of the twine with the button and flower. Very vintage.
