Our Creative Corner Sketch #50

It's Thursday, time for the Our Creative Corner Sketch (#50). I hope you take a peek at the OCC blog. The talent, not only on the Sketch DT, but the Challenge DT as well, is AMAZING. I am so very humbled to be part of this team. These ladies are super talented! But, I digress...here is the sketch for this week. As always, you have until next Wednesday night to load your card to the OCC blog with Mr. Linky. I hope you play along.

I made a Valentine's Day card without using traditional Valentine's colors! I broke out my new Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad for this card, and some silver sheer ribbon that I've had for a long time.

I cut all the hearts with my Nestie dies. The little Be Mine stamp is Close to My Heart.

You will notice that I refrained from junking up my card with a lot of buttons and flowers and what not. It was really hard to just let it be! But with so many patterns, I thought it needed to stay embellie free!

ETA: Yay! I broke 100 Followers! I will be doing a RAK after I get back from my retreat...sometime the week of the 7th. My birthday is next Tuesday, then I have the retreat Thursday - Sunday. So after that I'll hold some sort of contest for a fabbie RAK. So, mark this place and come back in a few weeks.
