Simple Doodles is in the Pink!

I was working on some Valentine's Day cards, and got all wrapped up in pink! Here is the Simple Doodles monster image, all pinked up! This is for the hearts challenge going on right now. Cards or projects with HEARTS are due posted to the Simple Doodles blog by Jan. 17th to be eligible for the prize!

I printed the image onto white cardstock, then colored it with pink pencil and blended with mineral spirits. I colored the eye and teeth with a white glaze pen, and the toes with a American Crafts metallic marker. The cardstock is Bazzill and the printed paper is Basic Grey sugared - from a 6x6 pad.

The greeting is a Studio G stamp that I picked up last year for $1. I stamped with timber brown Staz-On and inked the edges with Quick Quotes Powder Puff chalk ink. I used a Cuttlebug die to cut the little heart for the center. I cut the greeting with circle Nesties.

I used two kinds of ribbon - a sheer and a velvet. Yummy!

ETA: The first card is also for the Pile it On Challenge #29 which asks for anything digital. Since the Monster is a digital stamp, I'm all good!

The cardstock is Stampin' Up kraft and Close to My Heart textured pink. The printed paper is Doodlebug. I created the fun greeting stamp on the computer.

I colored the images with pencil and glaze pen, then cut them out with the Nestie circle dies.

The pearls are from Recollections (pink) and Kaisercraft (white). The little flowers are Prima.

I could eat a whole box of these yummy truffles! How about you?!
