I am here today with my 365 Cards Day 36 sample. The challenge today is: I Quilt. We are to use this quilt pattern for our card.
We all know that I do NOT quilt or sew...so I did not make my card to the exact specs of this pattern. (But, once a rebel, always a rebel, I always say!) I did my best with it. In honor of my Graphic 45 DT spot, I used Le Romantique and Baby 2 Bride papers from G45. I love these soft blues!
I used a bit of lace and printed a sentiment that I made in Word. I also used some fun pins. Love me some pins! I also made a flower buy cutting 10 scallops circles form an old dictionary. I inked each circle with Tumbled Glass distress ink. Love that fabbie color!
I am very happy to report that I should be teaching classes locally soon! I am in "talks" with two stores, and hope to talk to at least one more in the coming weeks. Hopefully by May or June I'll be teaching again in San Diego county! I'll keep you posted! I also have some plans to expand my online teaching in some capacity...so watch for that.
Great colours, great sentiment, GREAT CARD! love it and I can see your quilting pattern in there :)
