I got to work with the cute, In A Jam digi stamp set from Wink Wink Ink. I colored the little mousie with Copics. I have a new printer and the Copics make the ink smear! So I have to go back to my other (and more expensive ink) printer for printing my digis. At any rate, I colored the little dude while trying to stick with the color scheme. Pam said I could use neutrals, so I used white, gray, and tan.
I used three colors of American Crafts cardstock, and Basic Grey Oliver printed paper. I fit in a bit of pink for the mouse ears and the cupcake frosting. I even added some green sprinkles.
I made the lines on the cupcake paper by coloring with B37 Antwerp Blue, and then "coloring off" some of the blue with the colorless blender. Ta da! I gave my cupcake a "cherry on top" by gluing a flower on top. I had a few flowers in the same burgundy as the paper and ink. Yay me!
The inside of the card says: Laughter is the Best Medicine. So true. I did not put any greeting on the outside as I can use this for different purposes: get well, had a bad day, I'm sorry, etc.
Love your card Gloria!
