365 Cards Day 204

Today I have the 365 Cards Monday Challenge for you. We have a sponsor again this week - Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. The 365 Cards DT was able to play with digital papers and stamps! The challenge for today was to use the sketch below for a "white space" challenge! Pam knows how much I loathe these...she's such a meanie sometimes! The point is to keep all your decoration OUT of the white areas on the sketch. (I think Pam just likes to see if she can make me cheat!)

Here is my card. I only cheated a tiny bit....

I printed out this very cute Christie Angel digi and colored her with Copics. I added some Stickles to her wings to make them sparkle. I embossed the kraft cardstock (Bazzill) with the Sizzix 3 Dot folder, then swiped some Stampin' Up whisper white ink over the raised areas.

I cut the ovals with Spellbinders dies. The little stamp is a partial stamp from the Hero Arts All Occasions Messages set. The full stamp says: Hello Friend.

I cut some fabbie My Favorite Things cork with their jumbo scallop die. I also added just a little strip of October Afternoon Report Card paper. And some ruler twill. I had a bit of a mess-up on the inside of the card. I stamped another Hero Arts greeting, but I stamped a bit wonky. And was too lazy to cover it and try again! Just tilt your head a bit and it's fine!

I think I managed Pam's white space challenge pretty well. Let's hope it's a while before she gives me another one!

  5. I am so glad that you
'cheated' a little bit...else the card would have been odd - no? I am not sure I would take on challenges that don't produce designs that rock.... You have way more patience than I!

  6. Ah Gloria, I'd say you did a very good job following the rules on this one! :) I'm with there on the opinion of white space challenges but you rocked this one. Love that scallop cork!! Fabulous!
