CPC Sketch Tuesday #80

Time for Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday. I have Sketch #80 for you today. Another square sketch, but there is lots of room to get creative!

This is another one of my "go to" style of sketches. Lots of simple shapes and layering. I created a 5x5 card using Cosmo Cricket Togetherness papers.

Instead of using a rectangle image, I cut around my image and paper pieced sections of it.

The image is a stamp from My Favorite Things called Well Read. Super cute! I colored parts of it with Copics. I even colored on the paper piecing to try and make it look like shadows. It's not perfect, but it does give some depth.

I used some fabbie buttons and cream twill to finish off the card. Here is the inside of the card.

Gotta love those silly birds! Hope you have fun with this sketch. Check out the CPC Gallery for more inspiration!

  1. **love it** you knew I would, right?

  2. Love the colors and the card :)

  3. I love how you used the new stamp!

  4. now this is what i would like to have done today while it was raining.....get lost in a book!! another fab sketch girl and a fantastic card to boot!! still have not cut into my togetherness paper :(

  5. Your card caught my eye over at Cosmo Cricket! Cutest ever! I will have to follow you and see what's next! I also have to check out that image from My Favorite Things. I can't splurge much on stamops right now, but that may be a "have to have!" Thanks! Happy Holidays!
