This is another one of my "go to" style of sketches. Lots of simple shapes and layering. I created a 5x5 card using Cosmo Cricket Togetherness papers.
Instead of using a rectangle image, I cut around my image and paper pieced sections of it.
The image is a stamp from My Favorite Things called Well Read. Super cute! I colored parts of it with Copics. I even colored on the paper piecing to try and make it look like shadows. It's not perfect, but it does give some depth.
I used some fabbie buttons and cream twill to finish off the card. Here is the inside of the card.
