CropStop Embossing Challenge 10/29

It's been a long time since I've done an embossing challenge! The CropStop Crew mixed up the jobs to give us all a chance to work with all the forums and I've not been scheduled in the Embossing Forum in some time. I just purchased a few new folders (on sale!), so I was happy to be back on the schedule this week!

I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Texture Fade for my project. This one is called Checkerboard. I embossed textured card stock, then rubbed some distress ink over the raised image. I love this technique, as you well know!

I spent all of one afternoon coloring images with Copics, and this image from Papertrey Ink (Vintage Picnic) was one that I colored. I also recently purchased this fabbie Spellbinders Eyelet Squares die set. Yum! (I just received the Lacey Circles die set yesterday, so watch for that to show up soon!)

That swirl ribbon is also from CropStop. Haylie-Jo has a ton of yummy ribbon in the store. I have a bunch of 18 inch lengths as HJ slips a bit of ribbon into every package she ships my way! It's enough to give me a taste and convince me to buy more! She's a tricksy one!

The printed paper is from a Kaisercraft 6x6 pad. This one is called Le Chateau and is full of browns and blues. It's very vintage! You can also see that I used the Fiskars bracket edge punch for this card. I like the different edges - scallops and brackets - together.

The inside greeting is from the Papetrey Ink Vintage Picnic Sentiments set.
