Last Day for the Blog Swap!

It's the last day of the Graphic45 and Glue Arts Blog Swap! If you think the G45 girls did a good job this week, you must visit the Glue Arts blog! That team is AMAZING! I saw so many very cool projects this week!

My last project for the swap is up on the G45 blog today. I'll share it here as well. I've already given this gift bag and card to my pal, Jacquie. She leads my LSS club group each month, and is another homeschool mom. We met about 4 years ago and hit it off right away. She gets my sense of humor and you can often find us in tears from laughing so hard! So, I put some handmade items in this bag and gave them to her for her Christmas gift. {Yes, I actually gave some of my treasures away!}

I used the G45 Christmas Past papers. This is the first time I've used the purple palette. I love how this set turned out.

The bag is just a plain Jane kraft bag from Michael's. I covered it with a sheet of paper, then fussy cut the little girl from another sheet, and popped her off. Easy peasy.

I made a matching card...it sure helps to be on the DT and have extra sheets of paper at hand! I added a Tim Holtz ticket that I stamped with Dusty Concord ink, and a mulberry flower to which I added some purple Stickles. Ta-da!

I will have projects during the next week...I'm not really taking a crafty break for the holidays. I have a lot of really great things coming up in January, so stay tuned for some announcements! And to my faithful readers...thank you for always visiting and for you sweet comments. I am sorry I cannot answer each one of you, but I do appreciate all of your kind words and your support!

  2. Beautiful use of the paper, love both the bag and the project. The torn and distressed edges really 'make' it cool!
