NEW Spellbinders Die Templates!

Hey there, peeps! (If you are looking for the Graphic45/Want2Scrap Blog Hop scroll down.) I haven't had much of a chance to share my Spellbinders projects here on my blog, but this one is up in the new Spellbinders Gallery...so I can share it with you!

This page layout was at the Spellbinders CHA Summer 2011 booth and uses some of the NEW die templates! (S5-058 Ironwork Accents, S5-059 Ironwork Motifs, E8-001 Classic Scallop, E8-005 Classic Postage Stamp).

I started with the photos of my youngest son. Which is not my normal way of scrapbooking...I always make my pages first and then find photos to fit! But this time, I had these great photos of Jonah and the idea all came from them. Jonah was only about 4 in these photos, and he's nearly 11 now...which shows you that my scrapbooks are in need of some attention!

I loaded the photos into Photoshop and created one large photo, with some text on the bottom, then printed them in a square size. Pretty cool, right? I wanted to use the large circle shapes to mimic the shapes on the blue paper, so used LF-114 Grand Circles, and LF-249 Grand Big Scalloped Circles.

To create the border, I used E8-001 Classic Scallop, E8-005 Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilities die templates.

I used the edger from the Classic Scallop set and the circles decorative insert from the Classic Postage Stamp set. I love how all of the NEW Edgeabilities are interchangeable! (For more information, visit the Spellbinders website.)

I taped the edger and the decorative insert to my cardstock, then cut and embossed with the Grand Calibur machine. Easy peasy! I tape everything down so that it won't slide around on me. I'm a bit of a klutz, so better safe than sorry!

For the other decorative elements, I used the NEW S5-058 Ironwork Accents, S5-059 Ironwork Motifs templates. All of the Accents and Motifs die sets are AMAZING!

And there you have it! One scrapbook page...priceless!
