Happy New Year, blog buddies! I hope you have an amazing and blessed year in 2012! I'm excited for what the new year will bring! After having such highs and lows in 2010 and 2011, I am ready for JUST highs! To kick things off, my husband and I are planning a huge trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary...an Alaskan tour and cruise! We are beyond excited about that!
Let's ring in the new year with a new challenge, coming to you today from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The challenge is to make something with Sparkle and Ribbon! How easy is that?! Make sure you link up to the RRR Blog for a chance to win a prize!
I've made a winter card for you. This is the only snow I'll see all year! Until we get to Alaska in June! {giggle}
I added sparkle to my stamped image with some diamond bling, plus I dipped my brads into sparkly fluff. Such an easy way to get "fancy brads"! I coated the brads with a very sticky glue, then dipped them right into the container of fluff.
I also added sparkle with the glittery dove and the pine cone - both great finds at a Christmas shop. My friends were laughing at my purchases as I was only buying things I could use for crafting! And not least, the sparkly ribbon! I used white corsage ribbon which is just full of sparkle! Plus I added some white dot organza ribbon.
Have a great day! And a very Happy New Year!
