Graphic 45 and Operation Write Home!

Graphic 45 is proud to support our nation’s deployed heroes through Operation Write Home®! This organization has sent over 1.5 million cards overseas so our service members can keep in touch with their loved ones while they’re away. And our blog is going to be participating in the "Make 'Em Laugh" event this weekend! Come by our blog to see the projects we’re sharing – and take some time to check out OWH’s blogs and all the others participating, starting at the top of the hop, Stars and Stamps. You’ll be inspired!

I am so proud to participate in this blog hop! My father, all four brothers, several uncles, my husband's aunt, and countless cousins have served our country. I am so pleased that there is something I can give back!

Since April is National Humor Month, we have a great "Make 'Em Laugh" challenge for you:

Make a humorous card

Post a photo of your card on the Graphic 45 Facebook page

Deadline is Midnight PST on Sunday, April 22.

On Monday, April 23, we will announce two people to win a $50 Graphic 45 prize package on our Facebook page.

If you'd like to go above and beyond, please mail the blank cards to Operation Write Home. Click on the link to find the mailing center nearest you!

I created a sketch to get you busy crafting!

Here is my card. I used Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman. Very fitting, I think.

I colored my image with Copic markers. This is a new stamp set. I have a lot of cute girl stamps, but not many for boys. Now I have several new sets with images of My Guy Ian.

Ok the funny part....wait for it......

I visited this site, Stampers Best, and purchased the official OWH stamps, and a few other things that caught my eye!

I hope you will participate in this blog hop and in supporting our troops overseas. Thanks for stopping by today.
