Spellbinders Idea Gallery!

It's Monday. I had an amazing Easter week, however I woke up today with a migraine. Probably from all the extra activities and rich food! I need a nap, but first I wanted to share a few more projects I made for Spellbinders. All of these were displayed at Winter CHA, and are in the Idea Gallery on the Spellbinders website. Now that my term is over, I am seeing a bunch of my older projects being loaded into the gallery.

Everything that I made for Spellbinders was shipped to them. I don't get a chance to "love on them" any more. It's nice to see the projects at the show and online. Makes my designer's heart go pitter pat.

This layout is really outside my box of tricks! I don't normally use bright papers or light-hearted elements. Part of being on a design team is using products that are out of your comfort zone. It's difficult sometimes, but rewarding. This is a photo of my two younger kids. I love the shirts that they made in Vacation Bible School that summer (2004). I've never scrapped this photo, and I was feeling a bit nostalgic for when the kids were small, so here it is! {grin}

I used the Mix'd Media Playtime die templates to create my title. I cut the puzzle pieces from black cardstock and the "Scrabble tile" letters from green cardstock. I embossed the tiles and rubbed the raised lettering with black ink.

To create the fun "clips" around the circle frame, I used Jewel Treasures templates. I loved the hand clips - they match the hand prints on the kids' shirts.

Here is card that is more in my comfort zone. I created a masculine card using the Nautical Frame and Accents die templates.

I like to cut and emboss my shapes and then ink through the die template to create some interest on the embossed parts. I used Precious Metals craft foil to cut/emboss the anchor.

Check out the detail on the sea shells.

Take a stroll through the Spellbinders Idea Gallery to see more projects from the design team.
