Hampton Art Steampunk Halloween

I want to share a Hampton Art project for you today! I have been on a steampunk kick lately! There are times when I just need to do some grunge!

It is not too early to start creating fall and Halloween cards, right? {Ok, so I never mail out Halloween cards, but I do like to make vintage Halloween items!} I created this Steampunk Halloween card with just a few stamps and some paper scraps. Don't worry, I am NOT going all frugal on you!

I stamped the winged clock image onto cream paper with black ink. After I fussy cut the clock from the paper, I sponged on some gray chalk ink and added it to the die cut shape with some foam squares.

To create custom background paper, I stamped the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells printed paper with gear images and watermark ink. I then embossed the images with metallic embossing powder.

I fussy cut the Halloween sentiment from a scrap of G45 paper, but you could also stamp a message for your card.

I have another steampunk card coming up on Thursday...stay tuned!
