Day 11 - Graphic 45 The Twelve Days of Gift Tutorials

I am teaming up with the Graphic 45 Design Team for an amazing Twelve Days of Christmas event!

December 1st through December 12th, on the Graphic 45 Blog, you will see a card designed by me, plus a gift tutorial inspired by my card and created by one of the current G45 team!

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me...

Eleven Pipers Piping

I confess that this is my favorite card of the series. I am not sure if it is all the red, the piper (I was a flutist once upon a time), or the "Ben Franklin" coat, but I just love how this one turned out!

I created a red, 5x5-inch card, lined with cream cardstock. I matted my other papers with cream cardstock.

I fussy cut the piper from the Drummers Drumming paper and attached him to the paper with foam squares. I used a series of circles to create interest and contrast. I fussy cut the banner to look like an old sign or scroll.

I used a cardstock sticker button and a Christmas charm to add more circle shapes to the card. (I placed some scrap chipboard behind the sticker button for more dimension.)

This card has some dimension, but it is not as "hefty" as most of my cards. I think this one is simple, but visually pleasing and it makes this one my favorite!

I decorated the inside of the card a chipboard element and a fancy brad, plus a strip of paper.

Now go over to the Graphic 45 Blog to see Miranda's gift tutorial! I hope you go on to visit at Miranda's Blog! Her blog is a dream scape of altered art creations. Even her cards look like altered art pieces! She is ultra creative!

Remember, leave Graphic 45 a Blog or Facebook comment for a chance to win this amazing prize! A grand prize winner will be announced on the Graphic 45 blog at the end of this event, on Friday, December 13th.
