Six Geese a-Laying
I admit that this card is my second favorite of the series! I love the goose and the banners! Plus, the blue print on the reverse of the Ladies Dancing sheet is beautiful.
Create a pale blue 5x5-inch card and line it with cream paper. I used a golden yellow to mat some of my papers.
I created a fancy banner by cutting bits of paper with a banner die cut template. I added some sparkly ribbon and a few blue roses to really spice it up. (You could use the Graphic 45 Cardstock Banners instead of die cut shapes to create your banner. I wanted a certain size and style of banner, so I made my own.)
Pull out your tiny scissors and get ready for some fussy cutting! I fussy cut the goose from the Golden Rings paper and used foam adhesive to pop her off the page. (A boy goose is a gander, and this one has eggs, so I am guessing it's a she-goose!) I used the bit of
Golden Rings paper that contained the egg/nest image.
I decorated the inside of the card with another banner and a strip from the Joyeux Noel paper. I added a bit of pop by adding a sticker button.
Now go over to the Graphic 45 Blog to see Denise H's gift tutorial! Denise has been with G45 for two terms and has created some wonderful projects. Have a visit at Denise's Blog! I like to call Denise the McGuyver of Graphic 45! She is a wiz at making cool stuff out of paper, a piece of cardboard, and a Q-tip!
Remember, leave Graphic 45 a Blog or Facebook comment for a chance to win this amazing prize! A grand prize winner will be announced on the Graphic 45 blog at the end of this event, on Friday, December 13th.
