And now, I am a....
DT Semifinalists: Today we are pleased to announce the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Semifinalists. Choosing from such great talent and diversified submissions is very difficult and we appreciate all the applicants that participated in the design team call. Without further ado, here are the semifinalists:
Karen Conner, Maureen Russell, Karen Letchworth, Susan Smit, Joyce Erb, Amanda Reed, Shellie Geigle, Debbie Seyer, Jolande van Oosterhout, Archana Joshi, Shona Ratliff, Robin Tharaldson, Candy Slabaugh, Mallika Kejriwal, Marzena Ziuziakowska, Tracey Fehr, Susannah McManus, Anne Harada,Shena Garton, Sandie Dunne, Nupur Priya, and Gloria Stengel
Oh, yeah! that is me right there at the tail end! I have to make a few more projects to submit for judging, plus, I have to have YOUR votes for this round. While I think that part of promoting a company's product is about promoting yourself, I am a bit shy about doing this in such a forward way. It is easy to joke with my friends about "how great I am," but in reality, I am shy about self-promotion. If all of you would take a look at my blog, and take a look at all the Semifinalists, and then vote for your 5 favorites, I do hope that you will decide to vote for me!
Vote for your favorite Semifinalists: We would love to have you participate and vote your 5 favorite semifinalists. Review each one of their blogs and then CLICK HERE to submit your vote. When you vote, you will also be entered into a drawing to be eligible to win a $50 HC Gift Certificate. You can only vote one time and you have to select 5 or more to be eligible to participate. Voting ends on September 30th, 2014.
To sweeten the pot, I want to share a few projects with you. Some of these are the projects that I submitted to Heartfelt Creations as part of my design team application.
A huge part of what I will do as a potential design team member for Heartfelt Creations will involve making flowers from their stamps and matching die cut templates. So, here are some examples of projects I made with handmade flowers!
I used Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur stamps to stamp the flowers for this card. I don't have the matching die cut template, so I cut all of them out by hand! I inked each flower and shaped it to form the blooms. {Rest assured, I ordered the die template the next day!}
This is a 2 x 12 inch layout that I made for one of the Graphic 45 CHA booths a while back. I made all of the flowers from die cut shapes or from pre-made flat flowers. I inked and shaped them all to create this flower element on the layout.
I created this Artist Trading Block for WorldWin papers. All of the flowers are handmade from shimmer cardstock. I die cut all the flowers and then used a water technique to shape them into blooms.
This card shows another type of flower. I used several, unrelated flower die cut templates from various companies to cut all the shapes from cardstock. I inked each layer, and then assembled flowers.
I made this card a while ago, for Graphic 45. I used Heartfelt Creations Aztec Gold Sunflower stamp set (which I think is retired) and the matching Spellbinders die template (the name of which escapes me!). This was one of the first time I ever used a matching die and stamp set!
I hope you enjoy checking out all of the Semifinalists. I sure would love to have your vote! CLICK HERE to submit your vote. Voting ends on September 30th, 2014.
