Canvas Corp Brands - Live Everyday Card

Hello, Vintage Crafters! Welcome to another Canvas Corp Brands blog post! I am one of the Vintage Market Contributors for the Canvas Corp Crew. I have a...not so very vintage card to share today...it's more of a trendy card with a vintage twist!

I created a 6" x 5" card base and then loaded it with red, white, and black! The Watering Can: Bikes and Baskets on Ivory paper is so adorable! I created a layered topper with the Red and White Mini Dot Reverse and Red and White Ribbon Stripe paper. I used border punches to add an awning feel to the topper.

I have had the White Mini Bags in my stash for a while now, and thought it would be fun to create a custom embellishment with one of them! I stamped across the bottom of the little bag, and then I created a loopy bow from some of the Red Waxed Cotton Cord and hot glued it to the center of the bag. I glued on some lovely red and white flowers.

I used a scallop rectangle die to cut some black Chalkstock paper. I stamped the sentiment with white ink, and also rubbed white ink around the edges of the shape. I embossed with white embossing powder. I made sure to have some "chalk" marks on the paper to mimic an actual chalkboard. I attached the tag to the little bag with a Small Red Clothespin

I wanted to decorate the inside, so I added a plain ivory panel to the top portion for writing a message.

I added more of the Bikes and Baskets paper, topped  with the image cut from 7Gypsies Gypsy Moments: A Novel Thought paper. I used Copics to color the umbrella. A red umbrella is a happy umbrella!

I had such fun making this cheerful card that I hope it makes you feel cheerful, too!
