A Christmas Carol is the NEW Christmas Release from G45! It is a stunning collection in deep red, jade, forest green, and cream, with a hint of pink! The colors are "one step off" from traditional red and green, making this collection so beautiful and interesting!
I love the story of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and enjoy reading about Victorian England. Thus the images from this collection speak right to my heart! This is another 5" x 6" card, my new "go-to" style.
My preferred card style is mixing the patterns within a collection. (or better yet, mixing collections). The prints in A Christmas Carol make stunning hand-made flowers, especially accented with a rusty bell! The stick pins add that extra bit of sparkle.
I enhanced the flowers on this card with vintage embellishments and an elegant ribbon bow.
I recently discovered a bag of bingo numbers in my stash...and HOORAY there was a "25" left in the bag! I tend to use the holiday numbers first (February 14, December 25, October 31, and so on).
I love the postage strip! So cute! I added a punched border to the top of the card. I don't have the matching stamps for this collection (yet), but when I have them, I can stamp a message in the blank space...or add a gift card pocket, or a handwritten message.
The bottom panel is all decorated with one of the cut-apart images. Isn't this collection just spectacular?!! I am thinking of designing a card class....who's in?! {wink}
Do you feel all Christmas-y now?! Are sleigh bells jingling?! Check back on Thursday for MORE Christmas in the summer!
