Welcome to the October Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop! Each month, on the last Tuesday of the month, the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team participates in a Blog Hop! Be sure to visit each blog on the hop, and leave a comment, because one fortunate Blogger will be chosen to receive a $25 gift card to Heartfelt Creations! The winner will be announced on Saturday, October 29th, at noon. (Check the Heartfelt Creations Facebook Page for winners!) The October Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday, October 25th  and closes Friday, October 28th at midnight.

You should be coming to my blog from Emilia van den Heuvel's Blog. After visiting me, head on over to Sarah Miller's Blog. For a list of the Alumni Blogs, see the end of the post.

I wanted to share a Christmas card today. I know, it's too early! But, if you don't get started now, you will be that person still making your Christmas cards on December 23rd! {wink}
Each year, I make a handful of very fancy Christmas cards for my local friends and for some of my family members. Since this type is hard to mail, I only do a few! This year I used the 2015 Christmas paper, Sparkling Poinsettia. I used on of the 6x6 panels for the card front, and then added 6 pounds of flowers and leaves! (Well, maybe not 6 pounds...)
I stamped the Sparkling Poinsettia stamp onto ivory linen paper with gold ink and then cut out the flowers with the matching Sparkling Poinsettia die. I created the dark red flowers with the NEW Classic Rose stamp set. I stamped all the different sizes onto dark red paper with gold ink.
I used the leaves from the Classic Rose stamp set and the leaves from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia stamp set. I stamped the leaves on two different shades of green paper.
I added another of the 6x6 pre-printed panels to the inside of the card. Easy as pie.
I decided to add two of the pre-printed tags since the card front looked a little empty. (We cannot have THAT!) To see how to make flowers, make sure you check out all the Heartfelt Creations videos HERE
