At the end of the hop, comment on the RRR Blog post, answering the question listed, for a chance to win the July Ribbon Club Assortment shown below. (The Design Team appreciates your comments, too!)
The July Ribbon Club Assortment is called Blue and Yellow Mix. This is such a pretty combination! I was so drawn to the blue gingham, naturally...love gingham! But...I ended up not using it!
I ended up using gingham paper, so...I thought the gingham ribbon would be overkill. I paired up some scraps of Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home with some scraps of Carta Bella, Bo Bunny, and Echo Park. I love to have all my papers play nice together, then add the fabby ribbon!
I used the Capri Blue Taffeta ribbon with the Yellow and Blue Confetti Dot Grosgrain ribbon. I made two bows and then topped them with a milk bottle cap punch out. So sweet!
I decided to decorate the inside of the card, too.
I added some of the Yellow Poppy Print Satin ribbon across the top of the card. Then I made a "prize ribbon" from another milk bottle cap and some scraps of ribbon.
I carried the country theme to the other inside panel. I sure love gingham and poppies!
My inspiration for this card came for this July CardMap sketch from Becky at PageMaps!
