The winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 1st.

You should be coming to my blog from Amarilys Doria's Blog. If you are lost, see the blog link list at the end of this post.
I have fallen in love with the papers in the Buttons and Blooms Collection! It reminds me of my jeans back in the mid-1970's when we used to sew on flower patches and such! I created a sweet 5" x 7" birthday card, that is filled with spring and summer colors!
This is a quick, easy, and budget friendly card! Since I am on the alumni team, I don't always purchase the full collections, and just get a few pieces from time to time that I think I would enjoy working with. I only have the paper from this sweet collection, so I fussy cut the pocket and the flowers from the Buttons and Blooms paper.
I stamped the Classic Rose leaf image onto a few scraps of green paper from the Tulip Time paper collection. I then used the die from the Classic Rose Collection to cut out the leaves. Fussy cutting the images from the paper is a great way to stretch a collection when you are trying to save up for the stamps and dies.

I added a fussy cut sentiment and a bit of background paper, both from the Buttons and Blooms paper pad.
I shaped the flowers just a little, and then I used foam adhesive to pop everything off the page. There is a bit of dimension, but this card will still fit into a normal envelope and go through the mail without paying extra postage!
