Heartfelt Creations June 2022 Alumni Blog Hop

Hello, and good-morning my friends! Welcome to the June 2022 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop!

Each month, on the last Friday of the month, the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team participates in a Blog Hop! The June Hop starts at 8am EDT on Friday, June 24th.  Be sure to visit each blog on the hop, and leave a comment, because a randomly chosen comment from a mystery blog will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations! The hop closes Monday June 27th at 11:55pm EDT.

To double the fun, Heartfelt Creations will offer a second $25 gift card for a randomly selected comment on their blog post!  The winner will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations Blog and Facebook page on Wednesday, June 29th.  If you are the happy winner, you can claim your prize by emailing socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us. Please write “Winner of the June 2022 Alumni Hop in the subject line.  You will have 72 hours to claim your prize.

Now, let's get started with the fun! You should be coming to my blog from Alissa Wells's Blog. After visiting me, head on to Lynn Stanborough's BlogIf you are lost, see the blog link list at the end of this post.
My card base is 5" x 6" and is made from fuchsia cardstock. I often do not have all the matching products for a collection, so I sometimes have to mix and match! This month I matched the Sweet Peony Paper Collection with the Wild Poppy Stamps and Dies.
I love to make pink flowers, and since I recently purchased some new pink ink, why not! I love all the pink shades in the Sweet Peony paper, too! I used the Eyelet Circle and Basics Small die to cut out one of the pre-printed images from the paper.
I shaped the poppy petals and tried to make them look like they could be one of several styles of flower, including a big, fluffy peony! I added Small Bright Pearl Stamens to the centers. After I created the flowers, I sprayed them with sparkle mist and allowed them to dry. The camera really doesn't pick up the sparkle very well, but it's there

I use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape all my flowers. If you are new to flower creation, view the FREE videos on the Heartfelt Creations Blog for help.
I inked up white cardstock with distress ink using a direct-to-paper technique, then I stamped the poppy images with archival ink. I cut out the flowers with the matching dies. I also spray the paper with a little water before shaping the flowers.
Thanks for hopping by! Hop on over to Lynn Stanborough's Blog next. DON'T FORGET...POST A COMMENT FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A $25 GIFT CARD TO HEARTFELT CREATIONS!
