Heartfelt Creations October 2022 Alumni Blog Hop

Hello, and good morning my friends! Welcome to the October 2022 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop!

Each month, on the last Friday of the month, the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team participates in a Blog Hop! The October Hop starts at 8am ET on Friday, October 28th.  Be sure to visit each blog on the hop, and leave a comment, because a randomly chosen comment from a mystery blog will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations! The hop closes Monday October 31st at 11:55pm ET.

To double the fun, Heartfelt Creations will offer a second $25 gift card for a randomly selected comment on their blog post! The winner will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations Blog and Facebook page on Wednesday, November 2nd.  If you are the happy winner, you can claim your prize by emailing socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us. Please write “Winner of the October 2022 Alumni Hop in the subject line.  You will have 72 hours to claim your prize.

Now, let's get started with the fun! You should be coming to my blog from Vicki Dutcher- All I Do Is Stamp. After visiting me, head on to Bozena- BBart Cards. If you are lost, see the blog link list at the end of this post.

I have been making Christmas cards, and I decided to dig into the new Holiday Star Collection for my Alumni Hop card this month! I know you probably wanted to see some fall themed cards, but I don't have anything from Heartfelt Creations in fall colors that is currently in the shop...so let's just do Christmas!
I had promised myself NO MORE CHRISTMAS PAPER COLLECTIONS! But...whatever! I told that other Gloria to sit down and be quiet! I did not get any of the stamps or dies from this collection, just the paper, but...wowza, isn't this pretty paper?!?

I decided to make a simple card this month as I like to show you both simple cards and flower-heavy cards. And...I did flowers last month. {smile} This card is a standard size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and if you take off the bow it will fit into a regular A2 envelope.

The card base is a purple metallic cardstock! So pretty! Years ago, when I did some work for WorldWin Papers, they were so generous that I am still using up the product that they sent to me. I had forgotten about their wonderful metallic cardstock! It is so luscious!
I matted two different prints from the Holiday Star Paper Collection with white cardstock for the card front. Then I just trimmed out one of the sentiment graphics from the paper for my focal point. To give the sentiment some dimension, I cut two pieces of heavy weight chipboard and applied it to the back of the sentiment graphic.
The finishing touches are the pretty enamel dots and stars, and the gorgeous bow! I found this seam binding in my stash and it is died so that it has several shades of purple and some green! It is so pretty. Unfortunately, I cannot see it in the Really Reasonable Ribbon store, but they DO have some lovely seam binding HERE

The inside of the card is ready for a stamped or hand written message!

Thanks for hopping by! Hop on over to Bozena - BBart Cards next. DON'T FORGET...POST A COMMENT FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A $25 GIFT CARD TO HEARTFELT CREATIONS!
