Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon October Blog Hop!
You should be coming to my blog from Ginny's Blog. After visiting me hop on to Kathy's Blog next! (The full blog list is at the end of the post.)
At the end of the hop, comment on the RRR Blog post, answering the question listed, for a chance to win the October Ribbon Club Assortment shown below. The Design Team appreciates your comments, too!The October Ribbon Club is called Christmas Assortment. My favorite Christmas colors are the traditional red/green/white. I just love that palette and most of my holiday decor falls into that color category. And...if you know me at all you know I love some gingham or plaid ribbon! So, I adore this collection!
I am in dire need of some Christmas cards for this year as I seriously depleted my stash last year. I am trying to make a few here and there, but so far I have not started an assembly line! Time to hop to it!
I found a Photo Play card kit in my stash, left over from 2018! Never opened! {I know, right??} I decided to make some of the cards, but to add my own twist and dimension to them, naturally. This card design had a sentiment focal point that I did not like, so I changed out the focal image and the sentiment, and added that beautiful plaid ribbon!
The card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" made from black cardstock. The paper and stickers are Photo Play Here Comes Santa. The sequins are out of my stash o'embellishments! The 5/8" Forest Green Plaid ribbon is perfect for this paper collection! I also think this card has a few too many layers and lumps to mass produce, but...maybe not! I don't mind spending more for postage when it comes to mailing Christmas cards!
Thanks for joining me for the monthly ribbon hop. Make sure to visit the other team members. And be sure to answer Bonnie’s Question of the Month to be entered into a drawing for a FREE Ribbon Club Assortment. If you’re not a member of the Monthly Ribbon Club yet, now is a great time to join.
