365 Cards Combo Day

Pam has really given us a great challenge at 365 Cards today! The challenge is to combine three challenges from past days! One from March, one from April, and one from May. You can do more, but must have one challenge from each of those months...combined into one card! Is that cool or what?! Here is my challenge project:

I used: Day 19 Keep it to Yourself, Day 53 Fun with Fruit, Day 71 Sketch, and Day 83 Make it Match.

Here is a shot of the front of my card - Fun with Fruit. I used a stamped image of a lemon (Stampin' Up) which I colored with SU markers. The cardstock is all SU and I think the printed paper is also SU. I embossed the green paper with my NEW Sizzix embossing folder! (Thank you Haylie Jo at CropStop!) I added some ribbon and a paper rose (also from CropStop). I followed the sketch from Day 71. A very versatile sketch!

This is the inside - Keep it to Yourself. The greeting was NOT to be on the front. So I stamped a sentiment onto embossed paper, and inked it with some chalk ink, then attached it to the inside of the card.

This is the matching envelop - Make it Match. I placed a strip of the printed paper on the front of the envie and added a "spotlight" from the stamped image. Ok, I am just loving coloring with my markers! If only I did not need those darn reading glasses!

Here is a close up of the spotlight. And then, I lined my envelope with more of the printed paper.

There is my Combo Challenge! How did I do?! I didn't even cheat today! If you love combining challenges, make sure to visit the Pile it On challenge blog!

  1. Thinking of You??? I had the sentiment pegged as "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." HA! I'm sure that stamp exists, but I don't have it! And BTW ... you did GREAT!
