I am so excited to see what the challenges will be. I know that many folks who play at Faith Sisters are digi scrapbookers, but I am 98% paper. I do some digi elements, and once in a while I do a digi page just for fun, but I am a paper girl all the way! I cannot wait to dig into my stash and my photos and work on my heritage, childhood, and wedding photos! The challenges will start out with family roots in January and move into childhood in February. The challenges will continue throughout the year with teen and adult years as well. The last challenge of the year (in December 2010) will be a letter to future generations or anyone who reads our books.
I hope some of my loyal followers will take the plunge with me and work on the challenges too. If you check the Message Board, you can see some "homework" lists to get you ready for the first challenge, to post on January 6th, and a new one will post every Wednesday for 2010.
What an opportunity to work on our Lifetime Story albums or our All About Me albums or our heritage albums! What an opportunity to leave a legacy of faith for our children! This is so important to me as I was not a Christian the first 28 years of my life! I want to share the wonder and joy of finding Christ with my children. They were raised in the faith, as was their daddy, but I think it is important that they learn about my journey and faith walk. This is the perfect time for me to begin to document everything. Please join me! It promises to be very rewarding!
