A Friday Two-Fer!

I have two cards for you today. This first card is for the new Simple Doodles challenge - paper piecing. I am not as great as Rose, but I did print this digi dino onto Basic Grey Archaic paper and cut him out! I colored his spots with Copics and his eyes with a white gel pen. Then I popped him off the card with foam tape. I also wanted to try my hand at the 365 Cards signature style week that's going on this week, so I channeled my inner Amy for this card. Amy's style is fun, bright, whimsical with lots of patterns. I think I hit that! I am so happy to be able to stay on the 2010 DT at 365 Cards, and Amy will be coming back also - YIPPEE!

I used a bunch of Basic Grey from a 6x6 pad, plus some of the Archaic chipboard. I think this cute Simple Doodles digi fits right in!

This next card is my CropStop embossing project for today. I used the Quickutz Stripes Label embossing folder. I also played along with 365 Cards again. This time I channeled my inner Kristie. Her style is contemporary and trendy, plus she uses a lot of techniques and makes it look super EASY. I used these tree images (SU) and mixed kraft with some trendy solids and Pink Paislee circles. This is a much simpler style than I normally do - and no ribbon! GASP! The pearls are also pretty trendy! Kristie is leaving the 365 DT due to a new addition to her family! I know we will all miss her fantastic cards!

And hope to be getting a link to my sketches up soon. I'm trying to find a way to do it with a PDF file so y'all can print them. So hang in there on that project!
