I made a 5x5 Card. The argyle paper is from The Paper Company. I found the heart doily at the craft store.
The stamps are Close to My Heart. Yummy vintage stamps, perfect for an anniversary card! I made the grungeboard rose using directions from Tim Holtz. I cut the flowers with an old Sizzix die, then sprayed them with my "Gloria Glitter Mist" before making the rose. (Practical Scrappers is looking for flowers this week, so this is for their challenge, too.
I just love me some vintage!
Hope you enjoy playing with the sketch. Drop by the OCC sketch blog to see what the DT made. I can tell you, there are some FANTASTIC cards up today!
ETA: A shout out to my mom who turned 80 years old yesterday! She's a young 80 and was having a great day, despite all the snow she's having back east. She told me she had breakfast with her niece and was having dinner with one of my brothers, so she seemed happy.
Gloria, Beautiful card! I love the grunge rose you made...what is the Gloria glimmer mist? You have me wondering....

Gloria glitter mist is my homemade mist - mix pearl ex or perfect pearls powders with re-inker and water in a mister bottle, shake, spray! Tim Holtz has a recipe on his blog.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! So very creative. You certainly have a "style" all your own.
