CPC Sketch Tuesday #91

It's sketch time again! I never create anything unless I have a sketch in front of me. Sometimes the finished project looks nothing like the sketch, but I always start with a sketch. It's just how my mind works, I guess. I love making my own sketches. I hope you enjoy using them! Here is Christian Paper Crafts Sketch Tuesday #91.

I had already colored the image, and then had to "wrap" the sketch around it when it turned out that I made the image too large. My card is not 100% like the sketch, but close enough for government work.

That adorable image is a digi stamp from Some Odd Girl. I was the lucky winner of three new digis from their challenge blog contest. This one is just adorable! I colored her with Copics. I've been playing with light sources and, still trying to master coloring hair!

The doily paper is Pink Paislee. The white parts are resist material, so I rubbed the paper with Ranger Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany ink. Then, when I wiped it off, the white doilies popped right up! I also distressed the Teresa Collins damask paper a bit. Both papers were in my LSS Club kit for December. I am not sure where that fun ribbon came from, but the button is from Papertrey Ink.

For the inside sentiment I used a sticker from SRM Stickers. I love this saying, because life IS sweet. It's hard to thank the Lord on days when things seem darkest, but, the Bible is very clear that we should thank God for ALL things. However, I do have some questions for the Big Guy when I get to heaven....

I hope you will visit Christian Paper Crafts' SPECIAL Member's Gallery on January 15th! Each month, on the 15th, the Design Team will open a special gallery for members. They will showcase projects that will ONLY be seen in this special gallery! If you are familiar with the Fan Club on Splitcoast Stampers, then you'll know what I mean! As CPC gets going in the new year, and the fabbie sponsors come on board...you will see some amazing things in this special gallery each month!

  3. What a super card - and sketch! I love the black and red together - and what a sweet little image! I've been enjoying your sketches. I've used two at CropStop now! It makes it quite easy to put a card together if the design is there.
