Loralie Designs Art Stamps

Remember, a few days ago I teased you with something NEW I had going on? Well, now I can reveal the whole enchilada! I've been asked by a local stamp store (Stamping Details, Poway, CA) to create a sample board each month, featuring the Loralie Designs Art Stamps! Each month they will pick a new lady and a theme, and I'll make the sample board. Once the gals at Loralie Designs saw the samples, they asked me to do some samples for them! (I was more than honored by what Susan and Loralie had to say!) Do I have a cool job or what?!

The January lady is called Nettie. And we decided to use the NEW Graphic45 Once Upon a Springtime papers. Which called for a very springtime color palette! As a bonus, G45 is showing the cards on their blog today as well. And offering a prize! Click HERE for that!

Here I colored Nettie with Copics, and then paper pieced her outfit. The colors of the G45 papers are so soft and feminine. Perfect for the stamp. I added some tiny pearls on her shoes and onto the image corners.

For Nettie's earrings and necklace I painted them with Viva Pearl Paint Pens. Stamping Details gave me three colors to play with. They are really cool. You can make perfect pearls with them! No funny "Hershey Kiss " peaks! Or you can paint with them as I did here! And they dry fairly quickly. Yum!

I also paper pieced the second card, but I only used Nettie's top half. {wink}

I went with the green palette this time. I do think her outfit looks like green cammo gear if you squint at it just right! I colored Nettie with Copics and added some pops of red. I also used a heart border punch from Martha Stewart.

The hat and flower are popped a bit, and the flower has glitter on it. I also use the Pearl Pens again for her earrings. I used a Gelly Roll glaze pen for her pearl necklace. And of course, I used lots of Spellbinders Nestie dies!

The third card is my favorite. I love the blue pallet from the G45 papers. Plus, who does not like butterflies?! I colored Nettie again, and popped the flower on her hat. Plus I stamped a net for her hat. Each stamp comes with a few accessories, which make the images fun to customize!

I used Martha butterfly punches, and added some pearls. Again, I used the Pearl Paint Pens for Nettie's jewelry.

Do her blue eye pop or what?! I used two ribbons on this one - a sheer sparkly one and a flower shaped strip of trim. Stamping Details has the BEST trims and they make sure to supply me with lots of it!

I jazzed up the inside of this card. I do all the insides, but this one was special. I love the border punch!

Last card! I colored Nettie again. These taller cards are 5x7. Nettie is a bit big to fit on an A2 size...well for me because I like to add "junk" to my cards!

She's so great with her bad self! This one is very sparkly, which is hard to see in the photo. Her hat and purse are sparkly, and the flowers on the card are VERY sparkly!

This is a bit better shot of the front. I used the Queen and Company pearls for her earrings! Aren't they FAB?!

I used more sparkly sheer ribbon and some pearl topped pins. To create the soft colors, I blend the pale Copics with E0000. That gives just a tint of color.

To sparkle up the flowers I used Ranger Stickles. They take a bit to dry, but oh boy...the sparkle is out of this world! I hope you enjoyed my NEW projects and these fun stamps! I cannot wait to show you February's lady!
