Really Reasonable Ribbon February Blog Hop!

Welcome to the February Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!

You should be coming to me from Dawn's Blog. If not, go back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and start the hop! You don't want to miss any of the stops!

I used the February Ribbon Club Assortment for my project. This assortment is all about the wearin' of the green!

Green is one of those colors that I don't use very much, mostly because it's hard to match. Some greens have a lot of yellow in them, some more gray, and some more blue. That makes it hard to match paper to ribbon to ink. But I gave it a good try!

I colored the image with Copics, and then found some papers that had blue and green in them. I think that the ribbon is fun and goes pretty well.

I used the bubble grosgrain and apple green star grosgrain ribbons from the Ribbon Club set.

I love to layer ribbon. It makes a fun contrast. Besides, if I don't use layers or multiple ribbons, there is no way I can ever begin to use up my huge stash of ribbons! {giggle}

In keeping with the boy theme, I used a gear and a button to decorate the corner of the card. I used pliers to bend the gear, making it appear "used."

I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Now, keep on hopping! Go to Jan's Blog next!

    I think the ribbon matches just fine. Very good idea for an older boy's birthday.
