RRR September Blog Hop

Welcome! The September Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop starts at the RRR Blog!

You should be coming to my blog from Dawn's Blog. (For the blog list, scroll to the bottom of the post.)

Check out the RRR September Ribbon Club. All Halloween-y! Ohhhh, ahhhhh!

I love these colors, especially the green and purple! Very cool and they match all of my groovy Halloween papers!

So...I made a Halloween card! I used some NEW Hampton Art Stamps Outlines. This set is called Scary, but is really super cute and not a bit scary! I used some older paper by Pink Paislee called Hocus Pocus. It has lots of great orange and purple patterns in it.

I colored my little owl with Copics, then cut him out with a NEW Spellbinders die (Labels Twenty-eight). I just got a box of "hot off the presses" Spellbinders dies! I am VERY excited to start using them! I sponged a bit of gray ink onto the image while it was still in the die template. It makes it look a bit "tombstone-y'!

I tied on a button (Doodlebug) with some black hemp twine, which is so cool to use! I used the purple diamond satin and the polka dot ribbon from the ribbon club as well.

I used the black ribbon from the ribbon club to make pleats under my cardstock layer. This is so easy to do! I just run a strip of Scor-tape on the edge of my cardstock. Then I run a strip of Scor-tape on the wrong side of my ribbon. And then I fold the ribbon into pleats! (I will try to do a video of this soon, so you can see how I do it!)

I hope you enjoy the hop! Make sure to leave a comment! I love your comments!

Hop over to Cherry's Blog next! I am in love with her work, and I am sure you will be, too!

Here is the RRR Blog Hop Order in case you get lost!
