Power Poppy Quiet Christmas Release - Day 6

Hello, Cardmakers! It is time for Power Poppy to share Part 2 of the Quiet Christmas stamp release! This is a big, wonderful, cozy release! I hope you can stop by and take a look at the shop!

The stamps in this release are very versatile and can be used for lots of different Christmas and winter creations! Make sure you visit the Power Poppy Blog for ALL the details!

First up this week is Forest Fellas, a blend of cute beasties and silly sayings!
Now, my long time readers know that I am not much for cutsie critters, but these guys and gals are so cute that I actually fell in love with them!
Look at Mr. Bear! He reminds me of the Coca-Cola bear! I was thinking of finding a bottle stamp and changing out the mug for a bottle of soda...then I thought...really....bears would never drink soda in the winter! They would drink coffee or tea or hot cocoa! Then I remembered that bears actually hibernate in the winter.....silly me! {wink}
I created an A2 card base from kraft cardstock, then used some older Authentique winter themed papers for the background. I stamped the bear onto white cardstock and colored him with Copics.
I stamped the sentiment below the image, then die cut the panel. I kept the cardstock in the die and rubbed on some distress ink. I created some snow flakes with some gouache paint. The only embellishment I added was that fun denim bow...to match Mr. Bear's overalls!
I love the size of this image. It is perfect for a basic card, but if you want to resize him, just get the digital version!

Bound on over to the Power Poppy Blog to see all the scoop on this fantastic release. I have also linked the other  Bloomies below! Check out all the eye candy!
