Really Reasonable Ribbon April Blog Hop

Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon April Blog Hop! I am going to be sharing ribbon projects again, a few times a month! I am so excited to be back with Bonnie and the Gang!!

You should be coming to my blog from Ginny's Blog After visiting me hop on to Kathy's Blog next! (The full blog list is at the end of the post.)

At the end of the hop, comment on the RRR Blog post, answering the question listed, for a chance to win the April Ribbon Club Assortment shown below. The Design Team appreciates your comments, too! I especially appreciate you vising my blog since I have been on an extended sabbatical.
I am feeling summer vibes here in our new location as it has been in the high 90's for a few weeks already! I picked through some Authentique paper to find some lovely blues and yellows to go with the April Ribbon Club! I wanted to make a "sunny blue skies" kind of project!
The April Ribbon Club is called Blue and Yellow Assortment. Look at all those lovely colors and prints!
I have been creating home decor panels for a long time. Since I love seasonal decor, and I enjoy having a new panel sitting on my desk for each new season or holiday, I decided to make some new ones! (See below for the full list of panels already created.)

After cards and mini albums, this type of project is my favorite!
This 6" x 6" chipboard-wrapped home decor panel is so fun to make! If you would like to see more information, and see a tutorial for making a panel for yourself, check out the original tutorial HERE. The basic concept is the same for every panel, but by changing the size of paper strips and adding different images, sentiments, and embellishments, you get a NEW panel every time!

I used the Authentique Meadow, Seafarer, and Calendar paper collections for this project. I have not purchased any new paper since early 2020, so you are going to see some oldies but goodies around here! I have so much paper that I have not even taken out of the package! It is time to use it and not keep buying so much! (Said every paper crafter ever!)
I wrapped the yellow flower panel with the Daffodil Taffeta ribbon and then layered it with the Mini Daisies Print on Blue Checkered Satin ribbon. I tied a little knot in the checkered ribbon, and added a shell charm, an enamel dot, and a tiny flower.

I created a big, loopy bow with more of the Mini Daisies Print on Blue Checkered Satin ribbon and added some flowers, leaves, and more enamel dots.

The flowers are all from the RRR Shop too! I used Mixed Blue Tone Cottage Roses, Mixed White/Cream Open Roses, and Mixed Blue Sweetheart Blossoms. I am not sure where the leaves are from, but RRR does carry leaves, too!
I cannot wait to put this one up in the studio! I adore the blue and yellow mix!

Hop over to Kathy's Blog to see what she has for you!
